Moreover, South Korea emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +44.7% from 2013-2023. While the share of South Korea (+7 p.p.), Poland (+4.2 p.p.), Ireland (+3.6 p.p.), the Netherlands (+2.8 p.p.), Canada (+2.6 p.p.) and Belgium (+1.6 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2013-2023, the share of Switzerland (-1.7 p.p.), the United States (-2.3 p.p.), Germany (-5.1 p.p.) and the UK (-5.3 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Switzerland ($51.9B), Germany ($42.4B) and the United States ($36.4B) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2023, together accounting for 49% of global exports. Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, South Korea, the UK, Spain, Singapore, Poland and Canada lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 39%.

South Korea, with a CAGR of +49.4%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices By Country

In 2023, the average antisera export price amounted to $890,165 per ton, picking up by 7.6% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated measured growth from 2013 to 2023: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.9% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
