In June 2023, the spectacle frame price stood at $13.0 per unit (CIF, Australia), reducing by -25.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a perceptible shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2022 when the average import price increased by 29% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $22.2 per unit in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($56.7 per unit), while the price for China ($9.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
