China's Central Bank Boosts Gold Reserves Amid Global Trends

China's central bank has intensified its gold purchasing efforts, marking the second consecutive month of expanded reserves in December 2024. According to reports, the People's Bank of China (PBOC) saw its bullion inventory climb to 73.29 million fine troy ounces, up from 72.96 million in November. This resumption of acquisitions follows a six-month hiatus and reflects the bank's strategy to diversify its assets amidst fluctuating global economic conditions.
