Craft Beer Breweries Face More Closures Than Openings

Bart Watson, president of the Brewers Association, points to the COVID-19 pandemic as a catalyst that exacerbated economic ripples, supply chain disruptions, and shifting consumer habits. Despite efforts to reinvigorate sales, overall beer sales declined by 2% nationally last year, with states like Colorado experiencing a sharper drop of over 3%.
