In value terms, China ($429M) remains the largest disperse dye supplier worldwide, comprising 49% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by India ($75M), with an 8.5% share of global exports. It was followed by Taiwan (Chinese), with a 5.6% share.
In China, disperse dye exports plunged by an average annual rate of -3.0% over the period from 2013-2024. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: India (+3.5% per year) and Taiwan (Chinese) (+4.5% per year).
Export Prices By Country
The average disperse dye export price stood at $6,373 per ton in 2024, with a decrease of -7% against the previous year. In general, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 37%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $11,000 per ton. From 2017 to 2024, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
