Emirates Introduces Premium Economy to Brisbane Flights

Starting February 1, Emirates is launching its Premium Economy service on flights EK434 and 435 between Dubai and Brisbane. This expansion marks Brisbane's inclusion in Emirates' growing list of Australian cities offering the upgraded cabin class. Read more.

Emirates, which has been serving Brisbane for over 22 years, currently runs double daily flights between Dubai and the Queensland city. The airline provides 77 weekly services that connect Australia's five largest cities—Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide—to over 140 destinations worldwide via Dubai. This network offers Australian travelers seamless connectivity, particularly to key European routes.

With the introduction of Premium Economy on flights EK434 and 435, Brisbane joins Sydney and Melbourne in being served by retrofitted aircraft equipped with this award-winning product. Queenslanders now have access to premium services, including refreshed interiors and enhanced cabins across all classes.

By April 1, Emirates aims to serve Australia with nearly 4,000 Premium Economy seats, expanding availability on two daily services from Sydney and Melbourne and a third service from Melbourne starting March 30, using a retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights EK404/405. The Brisbane service is a part of Emirates' broader expansion of Premium Economy across its Australian routes.

The Premium Economy product will also be available on various global flights to popular destinations including London, Vienna, Osaka, and Riyadh, all connecting through Dubai.
