Filtronic's stock experienced a remarkable 15% rise on Monday, pushing its market capitalization to £229 million ($284 million), and establishing it as the most successful performer on London's FTSE AIM All Share Index over the past two years. The collaboration with SpaceX, initiated in a five-year strategic partnership in April last year, focuses on delivering ground-based modules for the Starlink satellite constellation, which enhances radio frequency signals critical for satellite internet services.

This contract, along with prior orders amounting to $37.1 million, reinforces Filtronic's role in the rapidly growing market for satellite internet services, increasingly vital for high-speed connectivity in regions underserved by traditional providers. The company's promising position is bolstered by SpaceX holding warrants that could allow a stake of up to 10% in Filtronic.
