France Witnesses a Record High Glucose Price of $636 per Ton

France Glucose Export Price in November 2022

In November 2022, the glucose price stood at $636 per ton (FOB, France), growing by 1.6% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2022 to November 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2022 when the average export price increased by 5.5% m-o-m. The export price peaked in November 2022.

The total export value increased at an average monthly rate of +3.0% over the period from January 2022 to November 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2022 with an increase of 24% against the previous month. The exports peaked at 56K tons in October 2022, and then fell in the following month.

Belgium (29K tons), Germany (21K tons) and the Netherlands (10K tons) were the main destinations of glucose exports from France, with a combined 70% share of total exports. These countries were followed by the UK, Denmark, Poland, Ireland and Spain, which together accounted for a further 21%.
