France Table Flatware Import Price in February 2023
In February 2023, the table flatware price stood at $8,991 per ton (CIF, France), with a decrease of -10.9% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 an increase of 23% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $11,535 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to February 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($21,569 per ton), while the price for India ($5,337 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2022 to February 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

In February 2023, supplies from abroad of table flatware increased by 1.9% to 899 tons for the first time since September 2022, thus ending a four-month declining trend. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a slight contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 27% m-o-m.
