Inception, a subsidiary of G42, is leading the program to ensure AI technologies are developed with a strong ethical backbone. In collaboration with Microsoft, they have also announced the expansion of Microsoft's AI for Good Lab to Abu Dhabi. This move is poised to enhance the UAE's standing as a global leader in responsible AI innovation, establishing the region as a strategic hub. The Responsible AI Foundation is launching with a focus on ethical AI development and societal impact, aiming to address pressing challenges in collaboration with NGOs and governmental entities.

Expansion of AI for Good Lab to Abu Dhabi

As part of this initiative, the AI for Good Lab in Abu Dhabi will serve as a regional hub to spearhead efforts in harnessing AI to solve societal issues, particularly in the Middle East and Global South. This lab's first cohort of researchers is set to commence their work in March, undertaking projects that align with the Responsible AI Foundation's mission of inclusive and sustainable AI development.
