While some private equity firms have scrutinized Gerresheimer's business model, they have opted not to pursue acquisition at its current valuation, as reported by insiders. Additionally, activist investor Ricky Sandler, representing Eminence Capital, acquired a 5.4% stake in the company last year. Gerresheimer has been in discourse with Sandler since June, though his intentions remain unclear, according to the company's spokesperson in October.
