A recent poll predicts that the price of gold will reach a median forecast of $2,756 per troy ounce in 2025, a slight rise from the $2,674 projected three months earlier. Spot gold prices recently peaked at $2,790.15, with the last recorded price at $2,742, showcasing a continued demand for gold through uncertain times.

The persisting deficit in the silver market, although unable to singularly drive price increases, remains a critical factor influencing future price dynamics.

Analyst Suki Cooper from Standard Chartered highlights the challenges in investment demand for silver, noting that while the market remains undersupplied, the deficit alone may not be enough to propel prices further upwards without increased investment traction.
