Illinois Tool Works Misses Revenue Estimates Despite Profitability Gains

Illinois Tool Works (NYSE:ITW), a leader in engineering components and specialized equipment manufacturing, reported a slight setback in its financial performance for the fourth quarter of CY2024. According to a report, the company's sales fell short of market expectations, with a year-on-year decline of 1.3%, totalling $3.93 billion in revenue.
