In June 2023, the amount of cotton sewing thread exported from Italy dropped to 25 tons, with a decrease of -7.7% against May 2023 figures. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 when exports increased by 83% against the previous month.
In value terms, cotton sewing thread exports stood at $683K (IndexBox estimates) in June 2023. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a slight increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 with an increase of 100% m-o-m.
