Multiple Loudspeakers Price in Italy Grows 4% to $442 per Unit

Italy Multiple Loudspeakers Export Price in January 2023

In January 2023, the multiple loudspeakers price amounted to $442 per unit (FOB, Italy), increasing by 3.7% against the previous month. Overall, export price indicated tangible growth from January 2022 to January 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.1% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on January 2023 figures, multiple loudspeakers export price increased by +76.1% against August 2022 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2022 an increase of 41% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $449 per unit in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to January 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Turkey ($1,228 per unit), while the average price for exports to the Czech Republic ($112 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2022 to January 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+11.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Italy Multiple Loudspeakers Exports

In January 2023, shipments abroad of multiple loudspeakers (in enclosure) decreased by -39.5% to 22K units, falling for the second month in a row after two months of growth. Over the period under review, exports saw a pronounced decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2022 when exports increased by 34% month-to-month. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 50K units. From April 2022 to January 2023, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, multiple loudspeakers exports fell rapidly to $9.5M (IndexBox estimates) in January 2023. Overall, total exports indicated modest growth from January 2022 to January 2023: its value increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on January 2023 figures, exports decreased by -37.3% against November 2022 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2022 with an increase of 50% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at 17M units in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to January 2023, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Italy Multiple Loudspeakers Exports by Country

France (2.4K units), Austria (2.2K units) and the United States (2.1K units) were the main destinations of multiple loudspeakers exports from Italy, with a combined 31% share of total exports.

From January 2022 to January 2023, the biggest increases were in Austria (with a CAGR of +22.3%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the United States ($1.4M), Germany ($1M) and France ($725K) were the largest markets for multiple loudspeakers exported from Italy worldwide, with a combined 33% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Turkey, China, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, the UK, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Poland and Greece, which together accounted for a further 37%.

Among the main countries of destination, Austria, with a CAGR of +18.7%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
