Netherlands Reclaimed Rubber Export Price in April 2023
In April 2023, the reclaimed rubber price amounted to $1,055 per ton (FOB, Netherlands), with an increase of 16% against the previous month. Over the period from April 2022 to April 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.1%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Canada ($1,829 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($339 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From April 2022 to April 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Thailand (+13.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Netherlands Reclaimed Rubber Exports
In April 2023, reclaimed rubber exports from the Netherlands dropped dramatically to 1.8K tons, reducing by -60.6% against the previous month's figure. In general, exports showed a abrupt shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 when exports increased by 207% m-o-m.
In value terms, reclaimed rubber exports plummeted to $1.9M (IndexBox estimates) in April 2023. Over the period under review, exports saw a perceptible descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2023 when exports increased by 194% m-o-m.
Netherlands Reclaimed Rubber Exports by Country
Hungary (398 tons), Romania (318 tons) and Belgium (189 tons) were the main destinations of reclaimed rubber exports from the Netherlands, with a combined 49% share of total exports. Poland, Italy, the United States, Brazil, Canada, the UK and Austria lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 39%.
From April 2022 to April 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Austria (with a CAGR of +22.1%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
