The following exporters - the Czech Republic (4.9K tons), Serbia (3.6K tons), Russia (3.5K tons), Saudi Arabia (2.6K tons) and Finland (2.5K tons) - together made up 12% of total exports.

From 2013 to 2024, average annual rates of growth with regard to polyethylene binder exports from Portugal stood at +2.7%. At the same time, Saudi Arabia (+31.5%), Vietnam (+23.2%), Turkey (+22.0%), Hungary (+1.8%) and Finland (+1.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Saudi Arabia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +31.5% from 2013-2024. China experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. In 2024, the average polyethylene binder export price amounted to $2,235 per ton, shrinking by -9.4% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a slight decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 15%. The global export price peaked at $2,539 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2024, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($3,123 per ton), while Finland ($807 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
