Germany (75K tons) and Saudi Arabia (55K tons) represented roughly 54% of total exports in 2024. It was distantly followed by China (19K tons), constituting a 7.9% share of total exports. The Netherlands (10K tons), the Czech Republic (8.2K tons), Egypt (7.8K tons), the UK (6.1K tons), Austria (5.1K tons), Serbia (4.1K tons) and Spain (4.1K tons) held a relatively small share of total exports.

In value terms, Germany ($67M) remains the largest starch glue supplier worldwide, comprising 28% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by China ($28M), with a 12% share of global exports. It was followed by Saudi Arabia, with an 8% share.
