Stellantis Advances Plans for New Pickup Truck Factory in Illinois

Stellantis has agreed to invest $1.5 billion in the Belvidere plant, with an additional $3.2 billion allocated for a new battery facility aimed at enhancing the company's electric vehicle production capabilities. The Illinois plant is set to begin producing new mid-size trucks by 2027, underscoring Stellantis's strategic focus on expanding its manufacturing footprint in the United States.

U.S. Truck Market Outlook
