Moreover, Sweden emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +37.2% from 2013-2024. France experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. While the share of the United States (+21 p.p.), Spain (+4.4 p.p.), Denmark (+2.8 p.p.), Thailand (+2.8 p.p.) and Sweden (+1.7 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global imports from 2013-2024, the share of France (-2 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the United States ($37M) constitutes the largest market for imported textile wall coverings worldwide, comprising 26% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was held by the UK ($10M), with a 6.9% share of global imports. It was followed by France, with a 5.7% share.

At the same time, Palestine (+35.7%), South Africa (+30.7%), New Zealand (+19.5%) and the UK (+17.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Palestine emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +35.7% from 2013-2024. The United States experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Germany (-1.4%), Belgium (-12.0%), the Netherlands (-12.4%) and Italy (-13.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of China (+37 p.p.), the UK (+5.7 p.p.), Palestine (+4.5 p.p.), South Africa (+2 p.p.) and New Zealand (+1.7 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2013-2024, the share of the United States (-1.5 p.p.), Germany (-2.4 p.p.), the Netherlands (-10.4 p.p.), Belgium (-10.9 p.p.) and Italy (-13.5 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.
In value terms, the largest textile wall covering supplying countries worldwide were China ($34M), Belgium ($18M) and Italy ($16M), with a combined 45% share of global exports. The Netherlands, the UK, Palestine, Germany, the United States, New Zealand and South Africa lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 31%.
