Highlighting the economic calendar is Friday's monthly payroll report, anticipated to indicate a slowdown in U.S. job growth for December compared to November, with the unemployment rate projected to remain steady at 4.2%.

As the U.S. prepares for President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20, potential policy shifts—such as corporate tax reductions, deregulation, and tariff implementations—loom on the horizon, potentially boosting economic vitality but also posing inflationary risks.
