Jewelry Imports By Country
Thailand (X tons) was the major importer of jewelry in the world, reaching X tons, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2016. Thailand experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. In value terms, the U.S. ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported jewelry worldwide, making up X% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by the UK ($X), with the share of X% of global imports. It was followed by Italy, with the share of X%.
From 2007 to 2016, the average annual growth rate of value of jewelry imports in the U.S. decreased by -X%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates: the UK (-X% per year) and Italy (+X% per year).
