The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the United States ($194M) constitutes the largest market for imported planing, milling or moulding machines worldwide, comprising 21% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Russia ($46M), with a 5.1% share of global imports. It was followed by Germany, with a 4.8% share.
From 2013 to 2023, the average annual growth rate of value in the United States amounted to +4.0%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Russia (+0.4% per year) and Germany (+6.8% per year).

The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the largest wood milling machine supplying countries worldwide were China ($236M), Germany ($186M) and Taiwan (Chinese) ($84M), with a combined 60% share of global exports. Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 3.8%.
Among the main exporting countries, the Netherlands, with a CAGR of +13.4%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
