The Netherlands, with a CAGR of +14.5%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices By Country

The average wood slicing machine import price stood at $643 per unit in 2023, rising by 2.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a slight reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 10%. Moreover, the Netherlands emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +18.8% from 2013-2023. While the share of China (+7.9 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2013-2023, the share of Germany (-3 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($304M) remains the largest wood slicing machine supplier worldwide, comprising 43% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Germany ($97M), with a 14% share of global exports. It was followed by the Czech Republic, with a 3.3% share.
