On Tuesday, Xiaomi's shares climbed up to 5.7 percent, reaching HK$40.10 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange before settling at HK$39.55, aligning its market capitalization near the HK$1 trillion threshold at HK$992.9 billion. Xiaomi's financial structure reveals a substantial volume of 20.59 billion Class B shares listed publicly, alongside 4.52 billion privately held Class A shares dominated by Lei Jun, the company's founder. These Class A shares, each equipped with 10 votes, offer a convertible option into the publicly traded Class B shares on an equivalent basis, enhancing stakeholder influence and flexibility.

According to Kenny Ng, a strategist at Everbright Securities International, the impressive stock performance is underpinned by strong fundamental factors, and with improving investor sentiment, the stock is set to maintain robust performance in the near term. The company's thriving EV business, unimpacted by intensifying US-China trade tensions, has significantly bolstered investor confidence. Notably, a mere 3 percent of its revenue is derived from the US market, underscoring its resilience.
