According to the statement, the acceptance period for the offer has begun and will conclude on February 17. Unique to this deal, Zalando confirmed that the takeover offer does not hinge on a minimum acceptance threshold, which could streamline the acquisition process.

First unveiled in December, the deal sees Zalando valuing About You shares at 6.50 euros each, translating to approximately $6.71 per share as per the current exchange rate (1 USD = 0.9692 EUR). Such strategic moves are set to reshape the European e-commerce landscape.
