Moreover, Vietnam emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +23.9% from 2012-2022. By contrast, the United States (-4.6%) and Germany (-6.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of China, Vietnam and Hong Kong SAR increased by +8.2, +2.4 and +1.8 percentage points, respectively.
