Diesel or semi-diesel electric generating sets of output over 75 kva but under 375 kva, electric generating sets, excluding those with spark-ignition or compression-ignition internal combustion piston engines, other than wind powered, electric generating sets with compression-ignition internal combustion piston engine (diesel or semi-diesel engine) of an output over 375 kva and electric rotary converters lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 15%.

Vietnam (106K units), China (92K units) and the UK (22K units) were the main suppliers of imports of electric generating sets and rotary converters to the United States, together comprising 81% of total imports.
