In September 2022, the epoxides, epoxyalcohols, -phenols, epoxyethers, with a 3- membered ring and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated/nitrosated derivatives excluding oxirane, methyloxirane (propylene oxide) price stood at $3,613 per ton (FOB, China), declining by -7.6% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a perceptible contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2022 an increase of 11% month-to-month. South Korea (3K tons) was the main destination for exports of epoxides, epoxyalcohols, -phenols, epoxyethers, with a 3- membered ring and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated/nitrosated derivatives excluding oxirane, methyloxirane (propylene oxide) from China, accounting for a 56% share of total exports. Moreover, exports of epoxides, epoxyalcohols, -phenols, epoxyethers, with a 3- membered ring and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated/nitrosated derivatives excluding oxirane, methyloxirane (propylene oxide) to South Korea exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Brazil (377 tons), eightfold. From January 2022 to September 2022, the average monthly rate of growth in terms of volume to South Korea totaled +4.7%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average monthly rates of exports growth: Brazil (+4.4% per month) and the United States (-14.0% per month).

In value terms, the largest markets for epoxides, epoxyalcohols, -phenols, epoxyethers, with a 3- membered ring and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated/nitrosated derivatives excluding oxirane, methyloxirane (propylene oxide) exported from China were South Korea ($5.1M), the Netherlands ($4.1M) and the United States ($1.9M), with a combined 58% share of total exports.

The Netherlands, with a CAGR of +28.0%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
