China Fresh Pork Cut Export Price in September 2021
In September 2021, the fresh pork cut price stood at $4,536 per ton (FOB, China), rising by 5.5% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a deep contraction. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $5,859 per ton in May 2021; however, from June 2021 to September 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Hong Kong SAR.
From May 2021 to September 2021, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Hong Kong SAR amounted to -6.2% per month.

In September 2021, exports of fresh or chilled hams, shoulders and cuts of pig meat from China rose markedly to 438 tons, with an increase of 8.7% against August 2021. Over the period under review, exports enjoyed a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2021 with an increase of 115% m-o-m.
