China Non-Enclosed Loudspeakers Export Price in September 2022
In September 2022, the non-enclosed loudspeakers price stood at $2.0 per unit (FOB, China), picking up by 4.8% against the previous month. Over the last eight-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.1%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2022 when the average export price increased by 39% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2.3 per unit. From March 2022 to September 2022, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United States ($5.8 per unit), while the average price for exports to Brazil ($596 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2022 to September 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Indonesia (+5.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
China Non-Enclosed Loudspeakers Exports
Non-enclosed loudspeakers exports from China expanded significantly to 141M units in September 2022, increasing by 7.7% against August 2022 figures. Overall, exports, however, saw a perceptible reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2022 with an increase of 69% m-o-m. The exports peaked at 186M units in January 2022; however, from February 2022 to September 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers exports rose notably to $278M (IndexBox estimates) in September 2022. In general, exports, however, saw a slight decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2022 when exports increased by 55% month-to-month. The exports peaked at 309M units in January 2022; however, from February 2022 to September 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
China Non-Enclosed Loudspeakers Exports by Country
Vietnam (50M units) was the main destination for non-enclosed loudspeakers exports from China, with a 35% share of total exports. Moreover, non-enclosed loudspeakers exports to Vietnam exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, India (20M units), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Hong Kong SAR (20M units), with a 14% share.
From January 2022 to September 2022, the average monthly growth rate of volume to Vietnam amounted to -5.5%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average monthly rates of exports growth: India (+1.3% per month) and Hong Kong SAR (-4.7% per month).
In value terms, Vietnam ($45M), the United States ($33M) and Japan ($16M) appeared to be the largest markets for non-enclosed loudspeakers exported from China worldwide, together accounting for 34% of total exports. India, Hong Kong SAR, South Korea, Thailand, Mexico, Indonesia, Germany, Malaysia and Brazil lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 30%.
India, with a CAGR of +2.0%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
