China Non-Woven Glass Fibre Articles Export Price in December 2021
In December 2021, the non-woven glass fibre articles price stood at $2,118 per ton (FOB, China), remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Overall, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2021 when the average export price increased by 11% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure in December 2021.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($2,550 per ton), while the average price for exports to India ($1,556 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saudi Arabia (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In December 2021, the amount of non-woven glass fibre webs, felts, mattresses and boards exported from China rose slightly to 19K tons, surging by 3.5% compared with the previous month's figure. Over the period under review, exports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2021 with an increase of 45% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in December 2021.
In value terms, non-woven glass fibre articles exports expanded slightly to $41M (IndexBox estimates) in December 2021. Overall, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2021 with an increase of 62% month-to-month. The exports peaked in December 2021.

Vietnam (2K tons), India (2K tons) and the United States (1.7K tons) were the main destinations of non-woven glass fibre articles exports from China, with a combined 29% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the UK, Japan, Saudi Arabia and the Philippines, which together accounted for a further 34%.
From January 2021 to December 2021, the biggest increases were in Russia (with a CAGR of +12.6%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
