In September 2022, the other polyamide tow and staple, not carded, combed or otherwise processed for spinning price amounted to $6,364 per ton (CIF, China), falling by -9.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2022 an increase of 13% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $7,019 per ton, and then fell in the following month.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2022, the countries with the highest prices were Switzerland ($7,638 per ton) and Germany ($6,591 per ton), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($5,513 per ton) and the United States ($5,559 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From January 2022 to September 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
