China Raspberry and Blackberry Export Price in September 2022
In September 2022, the raspberry and blackberry price stood at $5,009 per ton (FOB, China), which is down by -16.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a mild setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2022 when the average export price increased by 343% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $6,000 per ton in August 2022, and then shrank significantly in the following month.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
From January 2022 to September 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Russia amounted to -1.8% per month.
China Raspberry and Blackberry Exports
In September 2022, approximately 333 kg of raspberries and blackberries were exported from China; which is down by -31.6% against August 2022. In general, exports recorded a pronounced reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2022 when exports increased by 677% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at 6.2 tons in May 2022; however, from June 2022 to September 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, raspberry and blackberry exports contracted sharply to $1.7K (IndexBox estimates) in September 2022. Overall, exports showed a noticeable reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2022 with an increase of 497% against the previous month. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $23K; afterwards, it flattened through to September 2022.
