Germany (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Belgium (X tons) were the main destinations of wire and cable exports from the Netherlands, with a combined 42% share of total exports.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 30%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

China (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Belgium (X tons) were the main suppliers of wire and cable imports to the Netherlands, with a combined 54% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Italy, France, Turkey, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Switzerland, Romania, the UK and the United States, which together accounted for a further 34%.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per ton), while the price for Switzerland ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
