The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 24% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, lubricant additives imports contracted sharply to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a deep setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 15%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, France (X tons) constituted the largest lubricant additives supplier to the UK, accounting for a 42% share of total imports.
