Egypt (+5.3 p.p.) and Uganda (+2.2 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Cote d'Ivoire and South Africa saw its share reduced by -1.7% and -3.9% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, South Africa ($X) emerged as the largest bobbins, spools, cops and similar supports of paper pulp, paper or paperboard (whether or not perforated or hardened) supplier in Africa, comprising 45% of total exports.
