In value terms, South Africa ($X) remains the largest ship derrick buckets and shovels supplier in Africa, comprising 82% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Egypt ($X), with a 3.8% share of total exports. It was followed by Mauritius, with a 2.2% share.
In South Africa, ship derrick buckets and shovels exports expanded at an average annual rate of +2.5% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Egypt (+8.3% per year) and Mauritius (+17.1% per year).
