Guinea (X tons) held a minor share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the leading importing countries, was attained by Mauritania (with a CAGR of +22.2%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, South Africa ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported carbides in Africa, comprising 28% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Algeria ($X), with an 11% share of total imports. It was followed by Egypt, with a 7.1% share.
