Nigeria (+29 p.p.), Ghana (+11 p.p.), Niger (+4.4 p.p.) and Mauritius (+3.7 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Angola, Algeria and South Africa saw its share reduced by -2.5%, -4.1% and -31.7% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest electric brazing machine importing markets in Africa were Tunisia ($X), Egypt ($X) and South Africa ($X), with a combined 55% share of total imports. Morocco, Nigeria, Angola, Algeria, Niger, Ghana, Mauritius, Libya and Senegal lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 28%.

Ghana, with a CAGR of +7.1%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
