In 2022, the import price in Africa amounted to $X per unit, picking up by 44% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a abrupt downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 an increase of 84%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the peak figure at $X per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
