The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest flexographic printing machinery importing markets in Africa were Egypt ($X), South Africa ($X) and Algeria ($X), with a combined 41% share of total imports. Kenya, Angola, Nigeria, Tanzania, Morocco, Senegal, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mauritius and Cameroon lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 44%.

In terms of the main importing countries, Senegal, with a CAGR of +28.8%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when the import price increased by 177%. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Algeria ($X per unit), while Cameroon ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
