From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in South Africa totaled -2.8%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Senegal (+21.1% per year) and Kenya (+34.8% per year).

In 2021, the export price in Africa amounted to $X per ton, reducing by -18% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a noticeable contraction.
