From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the key exporting countries, was attained by Seychelles (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Morocco ($X), Mauritania ($X) and Namibia ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, with a combined X% share of total exports. Senegal, South Africa, Seychelles and Guinea-Bissau lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
Guinea-Bissau, with a CAGR of X%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the export price in Africa amounted to $X per ton, falling by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw a slight setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of X%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton, and then contracted sharply in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was South Africa ($X per ton), while Guinea-Bissau ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Namibia (X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

After three years of decline, supplies from abroad of frozen fish and seafood increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Total imports indicated a tangible expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports decreased by X% against 2018 indices. Imports into Cote d'Ivoire increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Zambia (X%), Benin (X%), Mali (X%), Burkina Faso (X%), South Africa (X%), Democratic Republic of the Congo (X%) and Seychelles (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Zambia emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Africa, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Cameroon and Ghana experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Mauritius (X%), Egypt (X%) and Nigeria (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
