Among the main exporting countries, Tunisia, with a CAGR of +86.3%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the export price in Africa amounted to $X per ton, falling by -27.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 9.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the maximum at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
