Poultry Market Size in Africa

In 2022, the African poultry market decreased by X% to $X for the first time since 2017, thus ending a four-year rising trend. Overall, consumption, however, showed a resilient expansion. The level of consumption peaked at $X in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

In 2022, the average poultry yield in Africa totaled X kg per head, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. In general, the yield saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the yield increased by X%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2021, and then declined in the following year.
