Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate mild growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 46% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, styrene-acrylonitrile copolymers imports shrank dramatically to $X in 2022. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 28% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X.
