In value terms, aluminium foil imports surged to $X in 2022. In general, imports showed moderate growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 199% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

China (X tons), Greece (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons) were the main suppliers of aluminium foil imports to Angola, together comprising 69% of total imports. Portugal, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and India lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 28%.
