Democratic Republic of the Congo (X tons) was the main destination for canned meat exports from Angola, accounting for a 92% share of total exports. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value to Democratic Republic of the Congo amounted to +3.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Spain (+41.1% per year) and Congo (+17.0% per year).

In 2021, the average canned meat export price amounted to $X per ton, declining by -8.8% against the previous year. In 2021, canned meat imports into Angola fell rapidly to X tons, which is down by -47.6% on 2020 figures. In general, imports recorded a abrupt decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 69% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, canned meat imports declined markedly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports recorded a abrupt descent.
