The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 245% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

China (X units), Portugal (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main suppliers of non-electric industrial furnace imports to Angola, with a combined 78% share of total imports. These countries were followed by the UK, Norway, the United States, Israel and India, which together accounted for a further 20%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Norway (with a CAGR of +50.1%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
